Hello, I'm a 15 year old girl with a crush on my teacher. Luckily, I am one of his favorite students and he loves me very much (in a teacher-student way, I hope). He is leaving this year to another country and when we said goodbye, he told me to "Keep in contact" with him... at the beginning of the year I sent him a friend request with my best friend (whom also has a big crush on him) and he told us he didn't accept any students as friends in Facebook. Anyways, I really want to maintain contact with him before he forgets me. The only bad thing is I don't have his email, just his facebook address. Do I send him a friend request again? what should I do?

I'm a teacher and I started adding my students. I don't even know how, I accepted the first one who sent me the invite and and then I started accepting them all, since I didn't want to be rude.

So.. I'll say - send him an invite. And a message.

If he doesn't accept students through facebook, then I wouldn't try adding him again yet. Instead, I'd send a message through facebook, giving him your email address and perhaps asking for his. Say that that's the only way you had of reaching him, through facebook. You could also mention in the message that as you've now graduated on facebook, perhaps you could add each other as friends. Then, see what he says :)

Teachers usually accept friend requests once their students graduate. Its a little weird/creepy for teacher to have their students on fb...but i say just add him...the good thing is that if he doesnt accept your request you won't see him again and it won't be awkward between you two. Try to get his email first though. Other teachers might have it...we have a school website in my school and it gives you the teachers email. Good luck (:

p.s im 15 too and ive also had a crush on some of my teachers and i would defenetly add them if i had their Facebook

Dont be sad if he doesnt approve you...
