I think you are old enough to send a card with your name on it. If he bites, great - if not at least you made it clear you liked him enough to spend 3.50 on a card

I think you should send him a direct message. This way, if he likes you, he will approach you. If not, you're free to move on.

I think if you really like this guy then sand him a valentines card, however i would give some sort of clue somewhere in there thats its from you. The reason i say this is because it may prompt him to get back in touch and arrange another date. Where as if you remain anonymous he will not know if its you, someone who lives down the road, or someone he works with. I know the idea of valentines is to remain anonymous, but i think in this case you should leave a small clue.
