I knew they had sex but I never heard it. It's happened twice already and I haven't told my mother but last night at 2am I got up because I'm sick with the flu and I heard them moaning and stuff shaking What do I say??

CindyCares agony aunt No don't say anything.

I assume that your Mom is being reasonably discreet and she is not always howling like a banshee.

You heard her because you were sick and got out of your bed at 2 am. An exceptional circumstance.

Parents need to show good taste and to not flaunt their sexuality in front of their children. But they don't need to be paranoid, or ashamed to be sexual beings.

So, if this is not a daily occurence but an once in a blue moon thing- no need for comments. Just go back to sleep.

to be honest it is bothering for a 17year old lad to hear his mum having sex in the next room.I think she should br warned to be more discreat in her lovemaking.I suppose you can remark passingly to her that you heard noises in her room last night and wonder if she is ok.something like that.

Ivyblue agony auntNothing love, thats life. Reverse role, I guess if your mum was to approach you with the same questioning you would find it a bit uncomfortable. Buy your self some ear plugs.
