A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Hello everyone...I havent been on here in a while.

Ok. So here is my question. I am currently living with my boyfriend and his mother. For the whole year of 2008 it has been difficult for me financially, emotionally, the whole nine yard. I have been really depressed and basically a mess. I have gained weight and just have not been focused.

On top of that my boyfriend and I have been having really bad times with our relationship. Basically in my opinion its time to call it quits. Its very hard however cause we have a child together but its been 5 yrs going on 6 yrs and he has yet to grow up and take care of business. He's very immature and selfish.

I was planning to just get my own place although its been rough financially but i feel thats the only way i can get my life back on track. I really believe thats the way to go so I can just start adjusting my life. Im very scared though. Before this I have always had my own place and never had to depend on no one for anything. So all of this chaos is new to me.

Its a new year and I want to start a new life especially for my daughter...So what do you guys think?

i don't know if you're out by now. but hopefully you read this. Move out. If he's been giving 6 years of chances, take your life and live your life. No need to lower your standards to meet his. Do it.

Do it!

Sounds like you have a good plan and you want to get your own place and be independent so you just need to get on it and go for it.

Good Luck!! xx
