A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

hey

When i was drunk one night i saw this guy i recognised, from a shop or something, i don't know how but i knew his name so i went over and spoke to him. We ended up swapping numbers and then i think i looked up at him and we kissed a few times that night. We've kept in touch since and both want to meet up again. The only problem is that there's a big age group i'm 16 and he's 28. I don't want a relationship with someone so much older than me, but we get along so would it be wrong for us keep in contact and meet up as mates?

please reply xx thnanks xx

i think go for it if it feels right. but the moment you dont feel right drop it

after all if your mature enough to deal with someone that old why not... and if you limit people to only people around your age group you are severely limiting th chances of you finding your soul mate

gd luck

I am a big believer if you find someone that you click with that well you should go for it. But you are only 16, so maybe wait until you 18 or so and if you still feel this way then go for it! And if he waits for you you will know he wants you and not something else. Hope this helps!!!

Thank you 4 your replies xx

I do trust him and i know that he would never do anything i didn't want to do. I think i will keep in contact with him and meet up just as friends, until perhaps i am old enough to become involved with him.

kenny agony auntI don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to be friends with him, although i do feel you are a little young to be thinking about dating him. I would normally advise that age does not matter, that its just a number, which generally it is, but 16 is to young for a 28 year old. If you feel his intentions are good and that you can trust him 100% then be his mate. And when maybe you get to 18 or 19 and you want to date him then you can do so.

All the best x

I personally would not find it comfortable to be with someone who is that much older than me. I think the limit for me would be three years!

However if you just want to be mates then it is your choice, no one else can decide for you. Age is just a number so if you want to be friends with him, then be friends with him.
