A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Hi!

So my best friend, for 3 years has been "changing" a lot. First off, she's acting like someone who she's not. Whenever the "populars" come around she starts to act like them, but when she's with me, she just acts normal. Also, she has started to ditch me for a different friends. The "different friend" is also my friend, but they're closer. I wouldn't mind her hanging out with her, thats perfectly fine, but even when i'm in the middle of a sentence with her, if her friend came by she'd turn away from me and talk to her. She was complaining about how that friend ditched her, but really ? She only talks to me when that girl isn't around.

Should I try to make new friends or stay with her ?

^If i tried to make new friends, i don't think i could, because everyone already has their best friends and i'm not good at starting the convo.

Thank you, ;;
