writes: Hey thanks for any advice i have a friend a girl that is having alot of trouble at home,she has been telling me about her problems and she recently asked if she could move in with me, she said she would pay rent even though i didnt ask, she has a job and goes to school,the problem is shes 16 her parents arent the best there divorced and she bounces back between them her dads an alcoholic and her mother is bipolar well shes just nuts ive known them both my whole life just about, so my question is would it be ok for her to stay with me i like her alot in a more then friends way but im never gonna tell her nor would i take advantage of her, if i could i would like to help her out.

At 16 she can probably be legally declared an adult. Get her to do this. emancipation

It would be very noble of you to take her in. I'm sure that where you are is far better for her then her current situation. If you do like her and show her this side of you things will happen naturally the way they were meant to.

If she's an adult and if you are renting your own place and you agree about rent and bill and who will pay what, then I don't see any problem.
You aren't going to be the first person to have a housemate.
Best get clearing so the spare room will be ready.
