A male Australia age 41-50, *riffo writes:

When you love a girl and you think she likes you (Or thats what the signals seem to be when im with her). She speaks to you in person but not via phone, email or SMS and when you see her in person it's only with her friends. I really love her and the more she does this the more it makes me chase, I don't like it because it's becoming unbearable. I'm thinking I should let her go but I just don't know how to do it because I really want to be with her and I really love her. Please help.

A female reader, Anaphora Australia +, writes (22 December 2008):

Anaphora agony auntYou haven't really gone into detail about why you love this girl and what you love about her. Do you think it's possible that you might be a little more thrilled by the chase than the girl herself?

If I am mistaken then I apologise. If you really love her, you need to find out how she feels about you. You said you feel she likes you. How does she look at you when she's around you? Are her eyes on you? How does she talk to you? And how close to you does she stand when she talks to you?

Keep in mind that even though you love her she may not feel the same way. If she already knows everything about you and still isn't interested then there's nothing you can do, but judging from what you've said, it sounds like you guys are not that close. Try to get to know her and strike up a friendship and see where that goes. Good luck!
