A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom +, writes (14 April 2009):

Ask her out and tell her you want to be her boyfriend.

If she says no then it's sad but you just have to back off and leave her alone for a while. Tell her that you have feelings for her and need to get over them before you can hang out again.

She might realise that losing you is going to be worse than having you as a boyfriend and agree to give it a go.

It has to be all or nothing here I'm afraid, or you'll end up following her round being her little adoring puppy and she will use you for cuddles and all the good feelings and you will end up more hurt than you can imagine.

Unrequited love is the worst ever!

Good Luck!! xx

Matt269 agony aunthmm this is a hard one. i guess you should stop wondering and just ask her out on a date. if she says no then you should end it there. if she is nice she might say yes but give subtle hints that she is not interested in dating. if so, then end it. but you'll never know till you ask.
