A female reader, anonymous, writes (16 January 2009):

Don't push him. If you've got a good relationship, then just go ahead and enjoy it.

Sometimes it's best not to announce our sexuality to everybody, especially when it might cause stress and anxiety which could affect the relationship.

Best of luck to you.xx

A female reader, Hmmmmmm United Kingdom +, writes (2 January 2009):

I think you need to support and encourage your boyfriend to tell his family that he is gay. it will be a shock to his family but as they love him they will support him unconditionally. We all knew my brither was gay well before he told us and chances are his family knows too.

either way, do not push him too hard, be there for him and offer the support he deserves. if you love him you will wait
