My doctor gave me birth control and told me to take it the sunday i get my period how ever its been a month and i havent gotten my period. i am sexually active however went to my doctors office they did a preg. test and i am not preg. however i work at a ultrasound clinic and ive done ultrasounds and the girl tells me that i look like im going to get it but its been a month shes been saying that lol...so can i just take it whenever to get my period to come because im not taking it for preventing preg its more of getting my period regularly. thanks

I think you should follow the instructions you were given and use protection in the meantime. Hopefully your period will come soon enough
