writes: i just recently ended a friendship with a guy that i use to work with. i liked him a lot but he told me that he doesnt date coworkers but we could be friends. i agreed against my better judgement. so now that we dont work together any longer he still want to be able to call me fairly often even though he knows i want to be more than friends. my question is do i call him up and apologize or just let it be if friends is all we will ever be? confused

If you are his friend it could be that you are still hoping and if he is clearn that he wants no more from it, you would be hoping for ever and nothing would happen. It depends whether you can cope with this. How would you feel if you were friends and he found a girlfriend? You need to think about this and then make your decision.
