A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Okay so basically I like this guy, and he was going to ask me to prom, but because his mate wanted to ask me aswell, he laid off. Then about a month later (in july) he told me he was going to ask me but didnt because his mate said he wanted to ask me. We have talked occasionally since and now hes moved up to a college in tottenham but still comes back home quite alot.

I was just wondering if its worth trying to make something happen now or if i should just leave it and get over him?

I think you should go for it , tell him how you feel, get him to take you out, enjoy yourself, have a really great time, and enjoy every moment together. hope it goes well for you.

I agree with sunset, ask him out you have nothing at all to loose. Go for it, it might be great or it might be a dissapointment but you won't know until you take the leap.

He could be shy and in the shadow of his mate so you may need to take the lead and see what happens.

Well, if you two are young free and single and you want to ask him, then go ahead, what do you have to lose? You could meet up with him and go on a date. See how it goes. You could go out with him and discover you dont even like him at all or the opposite. But you wont know if you dont make a move. I would ask him out.

take care
