reader, anonymous, writes (8 May 2009): When you say goodnight or are sitting very close, you can just look up at him and usually when two people's faces are very close together and they're looking in each other eyes, the kissing idea becomes mutual.

However, if he meant it in a friendly way, I wouldn't kiss him unless he kisses you first.
