But when I went in for the consultation, the consultant told me I need to 'think carefully' about what I do with my pubic hair, because it'll NEVER come back once it's gone. The 'sexy' women of pop culture normally always go bald, so I've kinda just assumed that's what's most attractive. I've always kept mine shaven, and when I went in for the consultation, I had it in my mind that I was just gonna get it all removed. But now it's made me a little worried. So what's everyone's opinion on the hair issue? I have to make my final decision in a few days.

Here is the problem. For the past few years the fad has been to shave everything, but, the fad is bound to change, and if it does go back to natural trimming....you will look like a plucked chicken forever. I say don't do it!

But then again I don't want to be famous as a sex symbol.
I haven't given up on being a famous guitar player (God knows I practice enough). :)

SirenaBlusera--------yes, most celebrities walk around with their pants down........when they get out of a car, when they bend over to pick something up, these women have no shame.

Yeah, I'm a guy and of course I like women to be trimmed down there. There are many reasons its popularised, the first being shaven down there can be more arousing for the woman, and generally guys don't like big 70's bush either.
But you know how guys chat to other guys, and I can honestly say that 9/10 guys, including myself, don't like UTTERLY BALD. Strategic bald yes, but bald bald is over rated.
I wouldn't have all your pubes permanently removed - you always have the option of shaving, waxing, styling, trimming whatever - but if you lose the lot, you never will.
Don't do it!

If you decide not to remove it all, you'll always have the option of doing it later. Once it's done, however, it's permanent.
It's like getting a tattoo. Don't get it unless you're absolutely sure.
Electrolysis is permanent. If you're going to do something permanent, then you need to be sure that you really want to do it. If you're undecided, don't commit.
Like Satindesire said, why don't you just get the "bikini line" done?
I'm just curious, btw. Who are these "sexy women" of pop culture, and how would ANYONE know their bikini wax preferences? Do they walk around with their pants down, lol?
