I need help... I mean badly. My girlfriend she used to be so into me and she would be like so happy to see me and calls me in the morning to say good morning and now she doesn't do it anymore. She usually smiles alot when I'm around and wants to break rules at her job by kissing me. But now shes the opposite as if she doesn't know me anymore. Like I'm annoying her. When this other guy that me and her didn't really like comes around. Shes all smiling and playing with him. When I come shes all like great what does he want and he just had to come oner nere. Like what should I do? Should I give her space or try to win her attention back. Yeah and shes in College, working ,and has me. I need help!!!

A female reader, Phoebe Halliwell United Kingdom +, writes (8 October 2006):

Phoebe Halliwell agony auntHey,

a sticky situation. I wouldn't try to win her attention back, not yet anyway. I's tone it down a bit, not stay away from her completely but just give her a little more room. She might be going through something or working through something personal. Give her space and give her time and I'm sure she'll come around.

As for this "other guy", if she is going through something she might be usuing him as a way of escape? Maybe if she sees you she thinks she might just tell you what's going on and won't be able to work through it alone like she wants to? It's a long shot, I know.

Things will perk up - focus on the positive - at least you've GOT a girlfriend!!!

Hope this helped,

Phoebe xxxxx
