Should I get a friend to arrange a date?

Question - (29 October 2009) 2 Answers - (Newest, 30 October 2009)
A male age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I saw this girl in my friend's birthday party but I could not speak to her, because this guy kept sticking to her all the time. I don't think she likes him more but he was just the guy who kept tracing her!

I don't think she likes me or dislikes me because I didn't have the chance to speak to her.

Now what should I do?

Should I tell my friend to ask her if she is interested or arrange a date with her. But if she said no it will be really embarresing for me.

Advice please?!

Being embarressed is something you're gonna have to get over. The unfortunate part of dating is putting yourself out there, and sometimes it can be a little embarrassing. I do think if you get her info and contact her youself it's better, but arranging something between your friend is just as well and she'll be flattered either way. Whatever you feel comfortable with:) But definitely let her know how you feel, every chance not taken is an opportunity missed! Good Luck!

My best bit of advice to you would be to tell your friend to offer her your phone number. That way she doesn't feel under too much pressure, and you won't feel quite as bad about it all if she doesn't contact you.
