A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Ahhhh I need help! I haven't had these butterflies in my tummy in a long time. Usually it would be a good thing, except the guy I'm feeling this for has to go back home to New Jersey! I live in Texas! He's a close friends brother. We talked on Facebook forever before we hung out. So yesterday I took him sight seeing around Texas. I don't even know if he's into me that way, but he keeps saying "we will mere up again, don't worry I'm gamma come back and we'll hang out". So it seems to me he's into me. Plus he took my mom on a shopping spree and spent the whole day with us, just touring the state and having fun. What do I do? He's a few states away, should I even bother telling him I like him? Or pursuing anything?

Wow my autocorrect is awful. I meant to say SON instead of mom. He spoiled the heck out of my baby yesterday.

xTheAlmightyDuckx agony auntIf you feel like you could handle having a long distance relationship then go for it.

You need to know if you'd feel okay with some of the things long distance relationships invovle, such as not seeing eachother for ages, having to make room for video calls each day, being able to still love someone and not be able to hug or kiss them all the time.

If you'd think you would be okay with that then go ahead, tell him and pursue your feelings.

If not then I suggest you don't, Long distance relationships aren't for everyone, and some people need physical affection to actually love a person.

So based on that I think you should make your decision on whether you could or couldn't handle a long distance relationship.

Also, don't get to down hearted if this guy doesn't like you back, he could just see you as a really good friend, but after taking your mum on a shopping spree i'd say thats a very big sign that he could well like you.

Good Luck x
