I am also a white women married to a black man and surely it is more excepted now, but we do still get comments, but I dont look at him and see color. I look at him and say I love him for who he is. Im the one that has to be happy with him not other people. You breaking up with him will only hurt you and not anyone else!!

I don't think you should dump your boyfriend because of his race. And if that is what others are making fun of him for than even less so. You will probably regret it later. But I also see that you are very young and obviously very suscebtible to peer pressure and the opinions of your peers.
Racism is a sad reality that is pretty ubiquitous in America. It is an even bigger issue than you are capable of overcoming yourself. It unfairly dates back for centuries and is still very alive and very real.
All I can say to convince you otherwise is that if these same people told you to jump off a bridge would you do it? I mean you should have your own personality. The sooner you can learn to do this the better. I hope you make the right choice, the one that works best for you. Anyone who tells you not to date someone because of his/her race is a complete idiot. But ultimately it is your choice.
