Should I date a man 15 years my senior, whom I share few common interests with?

A female Canada age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Should I pursue a relationship with someone who is 15 years older than me. I'm physically attracted to him and he is incredibly caring but we have no common interest. Although we can talk to each other for hours about various things. He is very attentive, but the age and lack of common interests bothers me to wonder if this is sustainable. BTW, I'm not looking for a sugardaddy, I have just as much as he does.

angelDlite agony auntwhy not give it a go if you get on well and find him attractive? if he is a decent guy what harm can it do? you never get a guarantee with any relationship, no matter what the ages are. you may think you share no interests now, but together you might start new activities together. i happen to think 15 years age difference is not a biggy anyway as we get older, it can make things interesting when there is a difference coz you can both bring different subjects to talk about and different points of view
