Should I confess?

Question - (22 May 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 22 May 2010)
A female Hong Kong age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I've fallen for a guy at work. We talk a lot in the office and are quite close. He teases me a lot and has all sorts of nicknames for me. He always says that I am weird and always takes pictures of me while laughing at me. He would criticize/comment on the way I dress or my hairstyle.

He has told me of some of his more personal stuff as in his past relationships, his family... (not in detail though). We always have fun working together. We laugh a lot at/with each other.

He always turns around and makes faces (raises his eyebrow and smiles) at me whenever we are in a seminar and a presentable guy is presenting in front.

However, after working hours, he never texts or calls. I'm really confused as sometimes I think we are so close but at times, I think it's all in my head as he never attempts to bring it a step closer.

By the way, we are both single.

A female reader, Harlow Australia +, writes (22 May 2010):

Does he behave that way with other people you work with? Maybe he's just a really friendly guy.

There is no need to put your heart on the line right away, casually ask him to have a drink after work and see what happens from there.

Good luck x
