Hullo, my question is i dated a guy for a year and so who promised me marriage but i guess he realized he coudnt manage so slowly withdrew and eventually called off the relationship saying we should just be friends but he still kept on calling me. After some time i decided not to pick up his calls and stopped calling him for about a month now he has stopped calling i miss him though,

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (8 September 2011):

If a guy promises you marriage, then backtracks, claims you can be friends and then disappears entirely, you'd be INSANE to take him back or get back into contact.

This guy offers absolutely nothing to your life at all. Move on, be grateful that he's gone. Never surround yourself with people who are unreliable and won't keep their word.

You could send a 'hie, how are' message and leave it like that. If he wants to talk to you he wil call you
