Hi everyone!

So I just had a psychic reading, it wasn't very in depth or anything because it was free and if I wanted to find out more she wanted me to pay but I didn't because I don't know where I stand with psychics, I guess I'm a bit skeptical.

However her reading said "You have many blessings coming your way, there will be be big changes, be an even more cautious driver and be careful in the rain or I could get in an accident, changes in my career are coming my way as I'm getting tired of the same old things"

she also said "stop being so negative, you have problems in every aspect of your life"

Okay so, I live in England it rains ALL the time, I can't avoid getting in a car for my daily commute to work, however I DON'T drive! I get driven, also I am tired of my job and have been for a VERY long time, but have just come back off holiday and wasn't planning on leaving also the bit about problems in every part of my life makes my life sound AWFUL.

Advice please guys? should I believe this or is it a load of rubbish, because I am a negative person and everything she said is making me worse and making me panic a little

So_Very_Confused agony auntI can read tarot cards for you and based on your reactions tell you things that will sound exactly like what you need/want to hear and I will seem positively psychic to you.

It's not hard to learn to gauge a person's reactions to what you say and tailor it to sound like it's personal.

everything you were told was generic.... nothing specific to you or magical about it.

A reader, anonymous, writes (16 July 2012):

It is far too general for it to mean anything. Now I am extremely open minded and have seen mediums and visited spiritualist churches, sometimes you hear things just like you were told. There have been only 2 mediums I have seen who have been able to tell me extremely personal matters, that no one would could ever possibly guess.

Psychics are different to a medium, a medium can contact loved ones no longer here and psychics pick up on your energy or feelings. If you don't want to pay - and why should you if you don't know whether to believe them - then search for your local spiritualist church. My local one doesn't even charge to come in and you get to see lots of different people and make up your mind about what to believe. Anyone who offers more info for a fee is usually only after money, a genuine person obviously needs to make a living but they would never tease you with the promise of more info.

Some people will disagree and say none of these people are genuine but I have my beliefs and I challenge anyone to be told parts of their life in detail like I have, that not a soul on earth knows about, and not be convinced that there are at least a few genuine people out there.

Please don't let this psychic worry you or make you think you need to part with cash this is a common way of drawing people in.

Good luck x
