 Regarding her ex boyfriend, well maybe they have gotten to the stage now where they can be mature and be friends. They were once together and part of each others lives and maybe they just want to remain in contact as friends why not ask her in a non judgemental way what the story is with them.
As for her status being single when you are both in a relationship well this you need to address. Because she is pretty much telling the world that she is still single and available. There must be some reason for this. Maybe it is linked to her ex or maybe not. Talk to her again and ask her why she hasn't changed it yet.

reader, anonymous, writes (29 September 2011): If she never uses facebook, I wouldn't be so worried. But if she's on there a lot, I would say something. If she doesn't followup with it within the next couple times she's on I would start to worry. Ask her if she has any hangups about declaring that you two are in a relationship? Good Luck!
