But now, nearly every night he is spending hours on the internet downstairs.I asked him what he does spending all those hours on the internet but he says he's looking at google earth or other websites but I know he's lying.I know he's watching porn but I don't get why. He and my mum are happily married and I don't think it's fair to her.Should I be worried that he is watching porn? I'm not sureAny advise would be great, thanksxxx

Your dad may have already started "tuning out" your mom and your family. He may spend more and more time away and develop attachments to some of these women. This has happened in our family. My husband always said he was working and spent more and more time on the computer. Even though he was at home, he wasn't "here." I wish that I had known earlier so that I might have brought it all out in the open before it destroyed our marriage. My 14 year-old-daughter and 12-year-old son are devastated.

Don't worry about it. I would not say anything about it to anyone. It's not cheating at all. Let's say this for example. Your mom has a headache and doesn't want sex at the moment your father wants sex...is it cheating if he goes into the bathroom and jerks off? NO! So looking at porn is not cheating.

Most men look at porn, I think in a way it's almost expected of them. Most women understand that, although some don't, but that's their problem. Leave your dad to his own thing, worrying about your parents is putting unecessary pressure on yourself. They're both adults, they can look after themselves.
