Should I Assume It's Over?

Question - (3 July 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 4 July 2011)
A female South Africa age 41-50, anonymous writes:

My SO and I have been together for about 2 years. About 5 months ago, his phone calls ceased completely. He's called me thrice in the last 5 months??? He sends texts regularily but I told him we're going to have to be a bit more proactive with the communication. It fell on deaf hears. I spoke about it calmly, no change. I threw a fit, no change. Eventually, I realised I was more or less chasing him and he had adopted some kind of she'll be there no matter what attitude, so I figured I'd leave him alone, get busy and focus on myself for the time being. So I stopped haranguing and texting at all. It has been 4 days now and I haven't heard from him. Should I assume it's over and he's lost interest and just didn't know how to let me down easy before?

I am in the same situation. Personally if you don't want to be with him then don't. You can call him and talk about your relationship and where its heading.
