writes: Should I send the email and ask for such a favour? So, many many years ago(over 10) I met someone with whom I just clicked. We ended up having, very very briefly an online relationship, but that didn't come into fruition, we never actually got to meet one another. Over the years we kept in touch every now and then, but it wasn't a regular thing and we haven't spoken in the last 4 years. I had all the emails and the messages we've exchanged backed-up, or so I thought. I lost each and every email that I have ever exchanged with that person. Sentimental value or not....I want to still have them. It is about the fact that during those years, I blossomed into the person I am today, because of the very person and those very messages. Would it be much of a stretch if I would send an email to that person, reach out and ask if they kept a copy? I don't want to cause drama or to stirr up the past, but I also, DONT want to have that part of my life just dissappear. Any advice? Reply to this Question Share |
