Most girls are automatically turned off by that.
When I get asked out by someone online, I think differently of the guy as to thinking he is not ready for a relationship because if he can not even be comfortable with asking me out, how will he interact with me physically in a relationship? Although, even asking her out on the phone would be better. Girls LOVE when it is in person, but even on the phone is fine. Good luck!

 if you feel more confidentasking her over msn then do that. If she does tink your a coward for asking her msn and she does'nt understand why you did it over the internet, then maybe she isnt the girl for you. But personally i think msn is fine, most people I know do it over msn I even have done before.

 hey your not a coward. If you really cant talk to her in person MSN is fine. Or ask for her mobile number so you can call her sometime.
I know a few of my friends ask there girlfriends out over MSN and it went fine for them.
