writes: i want to ask this friend of mine out. but this time i want to ask her out by writing it all in a letter/note.whenever i've asked a girl out before via a friend was bad, on msn they also dont respond well. so i thought if i write a letter and give it to her and tell her to read it in private. she'll have more time to read it and think about it.is this a good idea? i'm 16.

Asking her out by doing it in person or on the phone is much better than doing it by note, friend, or msn.

I think that by asking her out in a letter will be more effective than getting a friend to do it for you. A letter is more personal, and you can get your point across, and remember things that you might have forgot if you asked her out face to face.

Well..i think a letter is actually a good idea sometimes....some ppl think writin a letter to some1 is really sweet! plus, yea itll give her time to think about it. Just make sure that u personally give it to her, dont leave it sumwhere and dont give it to her through a friend...she might think its a joke or sumthin.
