Why not ask her out. Life is too short. If she says no, you can't say you didn't try. If she says yes, you'll be glad you asked!

 from my perspective i will advise you to go for it, no matter what the result is as long as you make a move. you don't want to spend your whole teenage life thinkiing about what "IF". plus you don't have anything to worry about looks because all you need is a great sense of humor (cocky & funny). if she's not shallow she'll give you a chance regardless of your looks. you said that you're opposite, to me it sounds like a good thing because you can learn from each other regardless. just be youself and ask her out. goodluck bro and i hope your first date goes well, cause i have confidence in you.
