A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

We just got out of a late class, and I asked her if she wanted to go bowling; she stated that she couldn't pay for anything at the moment, and it seemed she was thinking about it then told me she has an hour's drive and couldn't. after that she told me to ask her again later. as she was leaving she honked and waved at me. so, should I ask her again or what?

p.s. she's also said she has to work in the morning

Yes, ask her again! I think you just took her by suprise and she was being honest. Next time see if you can arrange something for a few days time, as she seems to be busy and might just need time to get organised. It might not be as spontaneous, .....or even ask to go for quick drink/coffee and be less pressure. Good Luck

Yes, she's telling you that tonight isn't a good night to go out, but she'd like to get together. Maybe next time ask to meet her before class.
