A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

hi all.

i have a bit of a problem here. i took a girl out for lunch about 2 months ago a a first date and we got on great! we never had the time to arrange another date but always talked and helped each other out.

in the last couple of weeks she has started seeing someone else - nothing serious but i feel that she has neglected me. (she hasnt told me that she is seeing someone but i found out on her social network profile) I feel so deeply for the girl that it hurts me to think she is with someone else.

We are still very good friends and we get along fine and i'm sure she still has feelings for me.

can anyone tell me what i can do???

A female reader, uhhhhey United States +, writes (24 December 2007):

uhhhhey agony auntTalk openly and maturely with her and find out how she feels. It's the only way to clear the air and to move forward in your relationship, whether it be a strong friendship or a romantic relationship. She might not be interested romantically, but who knows. The only way to be sure is to talk about it.
