writes:ok i really need help with this... there's this girl i've known since 2010 and she's so up and down w/ me :( recently, we were texting a lot and expressed to one another how much we love each other. she would be soo affectionate towards me that words aren't enough... she'd flirt and always initiate conversation w/ me, like texting me "good morning" or "hey". she told me i make her feel all warm inside and a lot of other things that indicated she really was into me. problem is, she goes cold on me after being so hot. she started replying to my texts w/ just 1 word, then she stopped replying altogether... we haven't talked for a week and this has happened more than once and it just makes me feel like she's playing games w/ me. i really really miss her but i am trying my best not to text her b/c i don't want it to seem like i need her. can i please get some insight as to why she always goes hot and then cold so suddenly, so out of the blue? and also, should i text her? or wait for her to text me first??

been there and had a guy do that to me. its not worth it, it will only happen again and again get out and find a girl whos really into you.
think about it this way - would you ignore someone you loved sooooo much? thought not.

reader, anonymous, writes (17 April 2012): shes using you as her safety net, shes playing games with you so that if something happens with other guys shes still going to have you there, in my opinion you should give up on her because shes just going to break your heart i know that sounds harsh but ive seen it happen multiple times and its always the same thing.
