She's a shy girl just like I thought, and I'm a pretty shy guy too =/ Nonetheless, I atleast got her name and got to know her a bit better, even though she didn't try to talk too much.I thought we were on track on atleast becoming friends, but even more recently, she seems to be avoiding me and I don't get to see her in the usual places (Btw, I'm in high school - 2nd year, she's one year lower, so we're not in the same classes). So using the common sense I have, I made a belief she's not interested and further yet, probably doesn't even want to be friends. As a result, I haven't tried to talk to her in fear of making things worse.Are there other reasons for what she's doing and should I or should I not try to talk to her again?Thanks for any advice!

 If she's avoiding you and you're not finding her in the same places I take it she's trying to tell you "nicely" she just doesn't fancy you so I would leave it. Try again in a couple of years time once you assert yourself more.

 I would try and talk to her and ask her if everything is ok. If she is shy maybe she is abit scared of getting to know you. Maybe by letting her know that you would like to hang out abit as friends would ease things a bit. If she doesnt want to talk to you and keeps ignoring you then I think you should back off and leave her alone as she is sending clear signals that she is not interested.
