The issue is I'm not all too familiar with nightclubs as it was never really my thing and the last time I went to one I think I was around 17. I need to know if this date is going to work because she's 19 and I'm 23 so obviously she won't be able to get into a 21+club but will I have access to a under 21 club? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but I just need to get it out of the way. I asked her this question as well but she didn't know either and I don't feel like finding out when I get there. Thanks anyone who took the time to read and respond to my question. Reply to this Question Share |

And below is what Security personnel are expected to notice in over 21 venues:
Examples of what they check to verify person is over 21
You are checking the following:
Age is 21 or over
Picture matches person
Description (ID or license) matches person: height; weight; eye color, approximate age (check against issue date)
ID is not expired (more than 2 months) visibly tampered with, cracked, separated, or altered
Does not say “for novelty use only” on back
You will be verifying IDs from multiple states and countries – if not sure, ASK for assistance
Also feel free to ask questions about their birth date
You must physically TOUCH their ID. No reading “in the wallet”

Yeah it is kind of a dumb question but that's only because you misunderstand something. It's not an under 21 club its an all ages club, which means you don't have to be drinking age to go there.
