She could have been very embarrassed by the fact she was having her period. She might not have known before you started playing around. However when she realized, it could have upset her.
She may also just want to be friends, very good friends, if she is sleeping in your bed. That part you may have to accept.
Best I can say is…Go on as if nothing has happen. Show her you are at lease willing to be friends if nothing else, and this time let her come to you. She knows how you feel, if she wants more she will come.

 You have to give her time to open up and maybe trust you more. Dont push the subject she is not ready to have a sexual relationship yet or something may have happened in her past preventing her from having one.
What ever you do now dont touch her until you know whats going on and even then make sure its mutual agreement. The last thing you want is to end up on some rape charge here.
