I was talking to my friend today and he said she walks past everyday when they are out, so im thinking of going out with them because they are also my friends. The question im asking is if she was my best friend should i just say 'hi' when she walks past or hug her or what? also i sent her a text and it was a poem like thing about friends being like angels and it said send this message to your true friends. I sent it her so what do you think she will think of it, will she of liked the fact i still consider her a close friend?

I lost my best friend of 5 years because we drifted apart, and although we're friends again now everything is different and i know they'll never be the same again. You need to rebuild the friendship before the damage is done. good luck!

reader, anonymous, writes (12 May 2006): If she was your friend then why don't you just send her a text and say something like "Hi ya, I haven't heard from you in ages, I've missed your chats! How have you been?"
There's no reason why you won't get a reply. Then you can take things from there!
