I wouldn't claim it as yours until (if she is pregnant) you get a DNA test done after the baby's birth. Some females will sleep around & act all innocent & tell which ever guy she thinks will step up to the plate that it is his baby..they can be very deceiving.

Are you sure it's yours? You did have a casual relationship. Was she seeing anyone else that you know about? Before you committ to stepping up, find out the facts.

Hi depending upon the time of when she suspects she may have concieved a baby, then you can get one from mainly anyway, supermarkets, pharmacy, doctors, so just get her one from a supermarket, or suggests she does that herself. Because if she gets one and its negative she can still go to the doctors to make sure etc. I hope i helped, feel free to mail me about anything :) x

Hi there, you can get prgnancy tests from just about anywhere, on the internet at around £1 each, if you dont mind waitng for te post, or from any chemist or wilkinsons and so on, just about anywhere that sells health products. Over the counter they are £5 right up to around £12, but regardless of the cost, they all do the same thing, and most take around a minite to give the result after she has wee'd on the stick.
If you want to make sure she does it, give her a pot to wee in, then dunk the stick into the pot, its the same s it getting wee'd on, as long as the urine goes on the stick it will work.
You say this is a friend, rather than a partner, are you two rying for a baby? or is this a mistake?

You should have no problem picking one up at any pharmaceutical outlet or grocery store.
Most are quite accurate these days and are inexpensive as a rule. They are quite easy to use as well and will give you the results usually in a few seconds. Doc

reader, anonymous, writes (24 November 2007): Suggestion - she wants to leave it as long as possible before she finds out, that way it would be harder for you to say get rid if she were pregnant. Pregnancy tests are available from many places such as boots, superdrug, wilkinsons, supermarkets and the chemist, usually it doesnt matter how cheap they are, they all test for the same hormone. Buy one, take it to her and say you will stay with her while she does the test and gets the result. It is highly unlikely that you can get a false negative and only slightly more that you can get a false positive.
Dont be taken for an idiot, she is obviously either un educated on the availability of pregnancy tests herself or is playing on the fact that you are.
Is it a lesson learnt? Use a condom if you dont want babies.

I'm also in the UK and yes, you can buy a range of at-home pregnancy tests from just about any chemist. The lowest priced ones start at about £5. If you're unsure about what one to purchase, you can always ask the pharmacist for advice.

You should be able to pick up an at-home urine pregnancy test at a store...it might not be as accurate as one from a doctor, though.
