she told me hes not cheating on me anymore.

well i wanna know if he did cause i wanna brake up with him if he did.

but ive known him since we were babys and he wouldnt cheat.

A female reader, TasteofIndia United States +, writes (15 August 2011):

TasteofIndia agony auntWell, already you know she's a liar. So whatever she says you should take with a grain of salt.

How did she approach this with you? Did you feel like she was being truthful and trying to do the right thing by telling you information he had confidentially told her? Have you talked to your boyfriend and gauged his reaction? Is it conceivable that he's cheated? Have you seen any signs?

I would hate for her to be telling the truth and for you not to believe her and end up getting hurt.

So while I would assume that she may be lying, I'd still make sure and listen to your gut. If you talk to your fella and he's acting fishy... well, maybe it's something you should look into. But, if things seem okay and you think she's only lying because she likes your boyfriend and wants to create trouble - then I'd re-think the friend.

Good luck, sweet!
