writes:i am 16 and this year has been full of stuff for me.I fell in love with this girl last year....who was in love with someone else as well...but that guy rejected her and went with another girl. I was her friend even before i started liking her...then when i did, i didnt even bother asking her out bcoz i knew she didnt like me in that way and i was only her friend...she is a heartbroken, and i am heartbroken especially since she told one of my friends she doesnt like me....there was alot of awkwardness between us since she found out that i like her....we kept quite for a long time...but then to stop this awkwardness...i just said that i got over her and that we should just be friends.I noticed that a few weeks later...we became good friends again, she has been talking to me more and now she hangs out with me and my friends quite often.I love being around her. She is a quite diverted by other guys quickly...she isnt very popular with most guys but she can get diverted easily and wants to get a guy as well and always tries to seek attention of guys...she is quite pretty and very smart. She considers me to be a close friend of hers...but i am not the only one, she has also made a good friendship with my friends and more with one of them, he broke up with his girlfriend and now, she is happy to see him broken up, she loves his presence, she always asks about him when he isnt with us, and is now a very close to him...more than me. However, he doesnt like her in any way other than a friend as he knows i like her. I admit i burn sometimes...but i have been hiding the fact that i still like her only not to spoil our friendship and lose her from here...cannot get over her...been trying for a year...i dont think i will be able to hide it anymore IF she is even on the verge of going out with my friend...i am scared i might behave awkwardly and make it obvious that i still like her and i just do not wanna lose her now............idk...i have been cool lately but still burning that pain inside of me...what should i do?? plz help....

Ok. Dude I totally feel your pain.....Tell her how you feel but do it subtle. DO NOT BE AGGRESSIVE! Just say, "Hey...I've been thinking about us dating... you know since we are so good together.''See what she says and then if she says "Oh, well I just see you as a friend" Then accept it and say yeah, okay. Do not get upset and mad.One more thing if you ignore some girls and do not act so much like a guy friend then possibly they will start to see you as boyfriend material. Depends on the chick.
