if you both really care for eachother, i don't see why you two shouldn't date!
the only warning i would give is that because she is graduating and going off to college, it might be a bit more difficult. while you are still experiencing proms and college applications, she will be experiencing dorm life and will be learning how to live on her own. so, although serious dating between you two isn't unreasonable, it could be improbable.
i had two friends who only had a year difference. the girl went off to college while her boyfriend stayed a senior in high school in the area. they had dated for 2-3 years and were in love, but the 1 hour distance and their newly-different lifestyles resulted in their breaking up a few months later.
i don't mean to be a downer, only try to help put things in perspective. go ahead and ask her out, but if things don't work out, i'm sure there are some hot seniors you could ask out?

Hi Anon,
I Don't see there being nothing wrong with that presuming she isn't botherd about the age difference..most guys like to date older girls and if she really likes you and you really like her then whats the problem..go for it!
