Well she's usually painfully shy and won't talk to anyone unless they talk to her first. I talk to her whenever I see her and she always gets a big smile when I hug her hello (or goodbye w.e) How can I tell if she likes me?

i think what you should do is talk to her first
and then maybe give her a sign that you like her too
introduce her to all your friends and dont make her feel out of place when you're around with your friends
cause i really know hows it feel it feels like i just wanna walk away with out saying good bye or hey im going now,

she might be so shy around you because she likes you, and like doesnt want to make a wrong move ya'know? but i think you need to work on her not being so shy and like make her comfortable around you, so she isnt so shy and self conscious, peace dude,x

you could ask. i know thats a little easier said then done though, but it is the easiest way to tell. i would suggest you ask her and if she says no, you could alway pretend you were jokeing. but only pretend you were jokeing if it was a strong no. but if she says something like, "i ont know" or "i need to think about it" or if it takes her a long time to answer, then just take it easy and give it time. but you really should ask.
