my girlfriend is pissed at me and wont talk to me because i keep disconnecting because of my internet was stuffing up on msn... i was full stressign and trying to reconnect but then when i got back on she said that when i kept disconnecting she couldnt be bothered talking to me anymore even though the reason i kept trying to come back on was for her... and then she said she didnt care if i went off which is not normal because she is usually sad when i go off. and now she is telling me to leave her alone.. wat should i do? this doesnt seem fair... plus i see her at school tmr so wat am i going to do:( sigh*

Aunty BimBim agony auntI am happy to hear things have settled between you, and if she is asking you to forget it for now, it would seem she recognises she might have gone a tad overboard.

iinet has pretty good reputation, but even in some metro areas (according to mike malone who was guest speaker at a conference I went to) there are still quite a few metro areas who experience difficulty due to the amount of traffic.

Just hang in there with your girl, you seem like a nice young bloke!

Good grief, when I was your age, we didn't have this thing called the internet, no cell phones either.

What a child this girl is. If it were me, I would let her be in a snit and go on with my life. She certainly doesn't have one if the only thing she can do to maintain a relationship with you is type on a phone or on a computer keyboard.

Real creative, ever heard of a telephone? Um land line? Cell phone. People used to actually speak to each other that way and even had face to face contact and were leaving each other alone in between those visits with out getting their undies in a knot!

Really childish don't you think?

Don't blame your ISP, just find a new girl.

A female reader, Aunty BimBim Australia +, writes (6 December 2009):

Aunty BimBim agony auntwow, who is your internet provider, and are you out bush or city dweller. Some people who dont live in this magnificent, vast country of ours will have a problem accepting your constant disconnection problems.

If necessary contact your ISP and ask them if they can send email explaining what they think your problem might be, print it off and take it to school with you tomorrow. (you may need to wait until Tuesday). You may need to consider changing providers, unless you are remote or rural and dont have any choice.

Best of luck with it!
