writes: i fancy this girl in my year. we are friends, both 16. we see each other everyday at school. i know she talks to me freely etc. but i'm unsure if she likes me. she asked for my number a few days back but we are goin out our group of friends and she wanted to get my number so she could text me times. i'm the only boy goin with other girls from our year, and she's told me to bring anyone along like boys coz i dont wanna be there alone. but i wonder why she bothers to invite me? is there anyway of finding out? i dont want to ruin our pleasant friendship. any signs i should be lookin for?anything i can say?

reader, anonymous, writes (2 December 2006): shes inviting you because she obviously likes you!!! I would say she has invited you along with all her friends because she wants to do something with you without leaving her comfort zone of her friends aswell. I would suggest just play it cool, casually talk to her, smile at her and just in general be friendly. Also maybe you can suggest to do something with her next time because i have no doubt she would love to?
