IF you libidos don't match, THEN, it's over....
YOU can stay and torment yourself as long as you choose.... but, the long-and-short of it is that if she ain't interested... you're wasting your time.....

Being 48 years old woman might mean she is premenopausal, this means hormonal body changes. There is a possibility she is suffering from some dryness that causes pain during sex. I think as you get older, sex becomes less important. It's not about being at it like rabbits anymore, I think love goes deeper then and it's more about settling down. It doesn't necessarily mean she loves you any less. If you really are concerned and can't let it lie, I suggest you talk to her about it xx
