Me and my best friend are 14. Recently she has been having trouble at home and is now living with another friend and her family, including her 40 year old uncle. She came to school the other day claiming she has lost her virginity to her friend's uncle and I know it's true as I have seen them together, I don't know what to do about it, it's impossible to act like everything is normal. Please help, what do I do?

TasteofIndia agony auntWell, I think in your heart you know that this isn't right and that this Uncle is a sick old man taking advantage of your young friend. She might feel cool now, but she won't when she's older and looking back on the whole situation. But I think the important thing is turning in the Uncle. What if he has been with other girls? Younger girls? This man is a danger, and I'm glad that you have the opportunity to do something about it.

I think you should send your other friend's parents a letter telling them the claims. Maybe talk to a guidance counselor at school. Does the friend that your friend is staying with know about these claims?

You definitely have to do something about this... you sound responsible, so let's act that way. Find an adult who you can tell who can put a stop to this skeevy Uncle's behavior.

Good luck, sweetness!

Jamer70 agony auntit not kinda illegal, its straight up illegal. Mate tell a teacher, this is the best thing you can do to help this girl and her safety, let the teacher deal with it as this girl needs to be protected from this man, and telling a adult you trust can help her best.

Laura1318 agony auntAsk your friend to leave that house. It is not safe anymore. She could face further abuse from that man.Your friend should go back and patch things up with her family.

I hope your friend is not pregnant or that man will be charged for rape with an underage girl.

40-15?!thats sorta illigal. But theres two choices:You can talk too her about it and try too make better but youll most likely lose a friend OR you can say nothing and someone could get arrested(the uncle)or the uncle will do something with your friend against her will(rape, murdur stuff like that)and thats past the start of a bad life(crimminal acts and stuff). So its up too you.Hope you make the right decision.
