sorry to hear this. i know exactly how she felt if your mum was hurtful to her behind your back. my mum in law tried the same thing.i turned round and said at the time"im marrying your son not his family, and that meant her too. they never liked me and i didnt care. never cameto the wedding. well it was tuff.ive been married yrs nowand a grandma. so tuff what anyone else thinks.we all have to find our own way in life.and make mistakes on the way. ask your girlfriend what your mum said.if she does not want to tell you ask your mum. you must tell your mum to stop interfering in your life or you wont bring any young ladies home for her to meet. good luck x

what did you do when your mum said it to your girlfriend? did you stand up for her or do nothing. if you did noting she might of been hurt that you didnt support her

I don't know what your mom said. But if your mom did not say anything inappropriate, then sorry to say mate, but your girlfriend is a bitch.
However, if your mom told her something like; that you were dishonest to her in any way, then its the other way around.
Maybe you should inform us a bit more?
