 There is a saying in French "Je ne sais quoi", literally ‘I don't know what’ or roughly "That certain something".
Your girl just wants to know something in more tangible terms. Some girls do this to fish a compliment out of you or to see if you really like them for them.
Pay a genuine compliment and see what happens, but do it when she is not fishing or expecting one.
Every girl wants to hear she is pretty and attractive, but try something unexpected.
Is she smart, funny, creative, talented? Say so.
Is she thoughtful, compassionate, witty, intuitive? Say so.
Is she affectionate, outgoing, considerate, charming?
Put something into words from the heart. If you just enjoy her company it is ok to say "I feel good when I am with you".
The best compliment a guy ever gave me was "You bring out the very best in me effortlessly." He did not feel he was trying to impress me, or have a conversation. The chemistry, the "certain something" was just there. :)
