Im not sure if she has feelings for me but there have been signs.I'm holding back on asking her out cos my financial situation is not stable and I won't be able to handle the added responsibility. We have a common friend circle and yesterday while we were out for drinks we ended up having seats next to each other. We were cracking jokes and having a good time when all of a sudden she sticks her right hand in front of me and asks me to slap it hard. I kept insisting as to why I should do that and asked what it signifies but she wouldn't say. She persisted on being slapped in the hand for no apparent reason. I gave up and did it. What does that mean? I'm intrigued... She refuses to budge and won't tell me... Was that flirting or something... I'm really lost here.

It sounds like she may have been flirty with you and wondered how far you would go in order to do what she wanted.

Easy...Looking for a man...not a boy...Some women want to see how far a man would go to please them. If you had refused, she would have found you weak. She is flirting...but in her way.
A man steps up and does what needs to be done...a boy would have run away.
Her hand will be soar later...and she will remember you.
You see this right here..."I'm holding back on asking her out cos my financial situation is not stable"
How much does her love cost?

Yeah, I'm a bit stumped too! If she was flirting it seems a pretty silly way of doing it!
To me it sounds like attention-seeking behaviour, especially if this was in a group setting. Perhaps it was more of a performance for other onlookers rather than you.
