writes: Hey, I'm looking for advice. There's a girl in my class that sits next to me who I've been talking to since the start of the semester several weeks ago. She's really sweet, and very pretty. We always talk, and occasionally the professor will assign us group work and we'll work together and it's always good. The only wierd thing is, whenever the class ends, she just says goodbye and leaves in sort of a rush. I wanna ask her out to lunch sometime after class, but whenever the professor dismisses us, she's right out the door. What does this mean? What should I do? Reply to this Question Share |

It probably means she's not interested. Sorry to be blunt, but if she was she'd probably flirt and hang around a little more. That doesn't mean she doesn't like you as a friend. Two choices: 1. Ask her out anyway, you can do it in a casual sort of way - "Want to get a bit to eat sometime?". Or 2. Don't ask her out, especially if you think it'll just make things awkward during class. Personally, I say ask her out. Does what you have to gain out-weigh what you have to lose?
